A few weeks ago I made a joke poll on LinkedIn about starting a metaverse book club. The joke quickly got real as the poll exploded and people asked me to start the club.
Tonight was the first meeting of the Metaverse Book Club. We discussed The Augmented Workforce by Cathy Hackl and John Buzzell. I loved hearing the club members talk about how the book affected their view of all this new technology – artificial intelligence, blockchain, augmented reality.
Club members felt empowered after reading the Augmented Workforce. We don’t have to let technology happen to us. We can be part of making it whatever we want it to be.
