Hello, my name is Lily and I am a software enthusiast.
I am passionate about using technology to solve business problems. I dive into the unknown to figure out the best ways to solve those problems whether it be software, process changes, or people.
In 2016 I co-founded Doghead Simulations, a virtual reality company I am listed as one of the top 101+ women leading the virtual reality (VR) industry. I am also recognized as an industry leader in the book, What is Virtual Reality?: Everything You Wanted to Know Featuring Exclusive Interviews With the Leaders of the VR Industry.
Previously, I consulted for companies implementing manufacturing execution systems like Apriso and SAP ME for plants that build everything from semi-truck engines to knee replacements. I was thrilled to link all parts of the plant from quality control, tooling, assembly, and reporting under one system. And then linking that system to ERP and SCADA systems.
I am featured in App Developer Magazine as well as a speaker on virtual reality at IIEX Europe and Seattle Startup Week. Check out my interviews on the Humans 2.0 Podcast, Remote Works Podcast, and Collaboration Superpowers.
Besides working with the latest technology, I am also a proponent for remote work. I believe the remote work lifestyle to more talent for companies. It creates opportunities for those passionate about their work but who may not be able to live where the office is, such as military spouses.
So far, I lived in four different states working remotely for clients in the manufacturing, automotive and teleconferencing industries. Take a look at remotehabits.com and artofworkingremotely.com where I talk about remote work.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you are inspired by technology and how we’re using it to build the world of tomorrow.
